In 2015, Haberfield Public School set up a Journalism Extension Unit as a way to enhance gifted and talented students' academic and socio-emotional development.
The unit contains a series of cross-stage, ability-based groups that cater for students from Years 1 to 6. These groups have been designed to meet the unique needs of gifted and talented learners by providing students with access to like-minded peers, who share their interest and skills in the area of Journalism. |
Journalism Club
Students that have completed the Journalism Extension Program have the opportunity to join our Journalism Club. Here they will explore story ideas that interest them. You will be able to view articles in this section later in 2016.
